AIGA Arizona is in need of a Sponsorship Director. Duties and Responsibilities below:
General board member duties and requirements:
- Follow the policies and procedures adopted in the chapter bylaws
- Attend monthly board meetings, or appoint Chair/committee member to attend in absence.
- Contribute to board meeting agendas
- Attend the annual chapter leadership retreat
- Actively participate and vote at chapter board meetings
- Attend chapter-sponsored events and programs
- Be familiar with chapter programming, chapter policy and economic issues
- Be available to members and non-members in the design community
Specific Requirements:
The Sponsorship Director’s primary responsibility is to manage the fundraising sources of the Chapter, by means of sponsor relationship development and the Annual Art Auction program. The Sponsorship Director will work closely with the Programs Director in establishing a calendar and identifying potential sponsors for the various events/activities throughout the year. The Sponsorship Director will oversee the planning and management of the Art Auction Chair, who shall organize a committee to assist in the planning and event coordination of the Art Auction, the Chapter’s main source of fundraising for the year. The Sponsorship Director shall maintain and manage a committee to assist in these duties and shall provide a regular status report to the Executive Board.
